LDAA (Lanka Dementia & Alzheimer Association) is a professional organization dedicated to supporting dementia care professionals, caregivers, and families in Sri Lanka. We provide training, resources, networking opportunities, and support for those affected by dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

To create an account:

1. Click the "Register" button in the top navigation
2. Fill in your personal details and professional information
3. Select your membership type
4. Upload a professional photo (optional)
5. Submit your application for admin approval

Once approved, you'll receive an email confirmation and can log in to access all features.

To update your profile:

1. Log in to your account
2. Click on "Profile" in the navigation menu
3. Click the "Edit Profile" button
4. Update your information and click "Save Changes"

Note: Some profile changes may require admin approval before they are visible to others.

To change your profile photo:

1. Go to your Profile page
2. Click "Edit Profile"
3. Click "Choose File" in the photo section
4. Select an image from your device
5. Use the crop tool to adjust your photo
6. Click "Apply Crop" and then save your changes

To reset your password:

1. Click "Login" in the navigation
2. Click "Forgot Password?" below the login form
3. Enter your registered email address
4. Check your email for a password reset link
5. Click the link and create a new password

LDAA provides a professional CV builder for members:

1. Go to your Profile page
2. Click the "Build CV" or "View CV" button
3. Fill in your professional summary, experience, education, and skills
4. Save your CV
5. You can print or download your CV at any time

Membership fees vary by type. Please contact us for current pricing information. Benefits include:

• Certificates and verification badge

You will receive an email reminder before your membership expires. To renew:

1. Log in to your account
2. Check your membership status on your profile
3. Contact the admin for payment instructions
4. Your membership will be extended after payment confirmation

When your membership expires:

• Your profile will still be visible but marked as "expired"
• You'll lose access to member-only features
• CPD points will be preserved for when you renew
• You can renew at any time to restore full access

CPD (Continuing Professional Development) is a way for professionals to track and document their learning and development. At LDAA:

• CPD points are awarded for completing training and events
• Points are displayed on your profile
• Certain achievements unlock verification badges
• CPD demonstrates your commitment to professional growth

You can earn CPD points by:

• Dementia Training Program: Complete the online training to earn 8 CPD points
• CPD Events: Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences
• Certifications: Obtain recognized certifications in dementia care

The Dementia Training Program includes cognitive games and assessments:

1. Log in to your account
2. Navigate to "Dementia Games" in the menu
3. Complete the cognitive assessment games
4. Upon completion, 8 CPD points will be added to your profile
