Pioneering dementia care, education, and advocacy in Sri Lanka. Blending medical expertise with human kindness.
Providing world-class care standards and emotional support for patients and families navigating the journey of dementia.
Empowering caregivers and medical professionals through continuous education, workshops, and certification programs.
Raising a collective voice to shape national policies, reduce stigma, and create a more inclusive society for all.
Established in 2014, the Lanka Dementia & Alzheimer Association (LDAA) began with a simple yet powerful vision: to ensuring that no one in Sri Lanka has to face dementia alone.
What started as a small support group has grown into a national authority, collaborating with the Ministry of Health and international bodies like Alzheimer's Disease International (ADI). We have trained over 500+ caregivers and supported thousands of families across the island.
Today, we stand at the forefront of geriatric mental health, driving innovation in care facilities and home-based support systems.
"Dignity in every moment."
